我真的很會觀察問題的根源

週日去拜訪Peggy和Herman。Peggy 鼓勵 Herman 跟我分享他的 樂高 bulldozer  問題,他已經拆了三次但還是運作不當。


Hermen 很有系統地展示了現況。我也看到現在的樂高實在厲害。三千八百個零件,包含無線遙控模組,組起來是一台可以開的堆土機。


總之問題是一切運作得當,但是功能對應錯誤。我看了幾次,發現一個橘色的滾輪是啟動和切換一切操控的源頭。所以把核心模組整個檢查了一遍,發現沒有可視的組裝錯誤。


我們離開前,我猜測是抹一個零件的方向性有偏誤。


嘿嘿,一天後,Herman說,果然是那個橘色滾輪的角度。哇!我們太厲害了!


My ability to quickly pinpoint the root of problems has often met with resistance throughout my career in Taiwanese companies. This was not the case in American or European firms, primarily because my role as a sales representative focused on addressing issues external to the organization.


This is the first time I've positively acknowledged my own strengths, greatly aided by a team partner who skillfully and intelligently highlighted the issue's structure.
